The Tale of Two Vehicles

I was passing through a beautiful road on the oustskirts of Mumbai city, called Powai. A beautiful water front road which makes you feel relaxed after having passed through a lot of traffic, while moving towards Andheri.

The water was cool and the 5 Star Hotel over looking it was extremely smart looking! I saw for the first time two birds fighting, while flying. The beauties to adore were countless! Suddenly my eyes fell on a Black Mercedese S 350, which was ferrying some of the hotel guests. It looked beautiful in Black and the aerodynamics inclined shape made it look like it was continously pouncing on somebody! Its tyres took the entire weight of the passengers and even in the turn made the car look so balanced! The men inside, with Suits and Ties were talking and they looked hardcore Professionals! Infact they looked as if they were on some mission, Corporate Mission! In the words of one of my very close friends,"Bhagwan Jaane, kisiki maarne nikle honge!" I wondered how lucky they were to travel in such a car while I was travelling in a B.E.S.T. Not that I was jealous of them but was wondering,"Mera number kab aayega?" The feeling of sitting a being driven in a Merc, Woooohhhhhoooooo! The mere thought of it makes me go dancing! Yeah you read that right, Go Dancing! "Raju, please pull the window down, I would like to feel the fresh (hopefully) air", I told my chaffeur. People walked past, some jogging and some trying to stretch to their comforts, during the evening hours. There were other local lads who were just there to watch the girls stretch themselves in their shorts. There were a few more sophisticated who would like to go one step further and start a conversation with one of the beautiful girls. They wouldn't even bother to risk being bitten by her Dog as the chances of gaining her sympathy would be higher in that case. The joy of a conversation with her would be more than the pain of the injections! The Merc just passed by and I decided to open the sun roof and let the Air flow in from every direction. The Merc guys helped me adjust the reclining of the seats and the head rest electronically! I opted to also put the seat massager on to help myself for the most beautiful evening of my life! "Please put the volume up", I told Raju as the Radio Station played the romantic song,"Tujh main Rab Dikhta hain" from the movie "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and I missed my ex-girl friend even after 8 years of seperation. I would have definitely sung the song for her,it's one of my all time favourite romantic songs. When suddenly there was a screeching sound and I hit my head on the side window to be woken up from my dream!

It was a rude way of awakening anybody but my eyes immediately fell on a vehicle travelling by. Everybody looked at it with eyes wide open and on some faces there were smile, on some other faces there were some "wish I was them/there" kind of a look, some girls smiles were almost going to get translated into a whitsle looking at the occupants and dashing that is what was the reaction of the faces! The vehicle passed by and still there were necks craning to have a look till it disappeared. In this case it didn't zipp by but I am sure none would have complained. Pride swelled on to everyones faces and a small salute would have been dedicated as the Army Bus carrying the Jawans made their way to some base in Mumbai.

Two distinct vehicles with even wider feeling associated with each!
